The mission of the East Wenatchee Parks - Eastmont Metropolitan Parks & Recreation - is to provide recreational activities, facilities, and experiences, which allow individuals the opportunity to improve the quality of their lives, while enhancing and preserving the natural park resources of East Wenatchee. The East Wenatchee Parks - Eastmont Metropolitan Parks & Recreation - manages 44 acres of parks, 7 miles of scenic Columbia River waterfront asphalt trail (The Apple Capital Loop Trail). The parks house baseball, basketball, soccer, and football fields; horseshoe pits, lighted basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds, walking and biking trails, a radio control car race track, and an indoor swimming pool. Organized recreation offerings include indoor and outdoor sports leagues, sports camps, specialized day camps, and a full range of aquatics activities.
