Greater Wenatchee Girls Softball
The Greater Wenatchee Girls Softball Association (GWGSA) enrolls
approximately 700 children, ages 5-18, for each league season.
GWGSA features both competitive and recreational divisions for over
50 teams. There are also many traveling teams based out of the Wenatchee
Valley.
Through many grants, volunteer labor, materials donations, and an
amazing amount of community support, a tremendous softball complex
has bloomed.
GWGSA's "home field" is located on the grounds of Sterling Intermediate
School in East Wenatchee, WA (map)
and features four softball fields complete with covered dugouts,
screened bullpens, foul ball netting over the areas behind the backstops,
an electronic scoreboard at each field and a concession & restrooms
building.
