Tedford Park
Tedford Park is located at 1st St SE & S. Jarvis Ave (map)
in East Wenatchee, WA and features a sports field, a baseball diamond,
lots of shade trees, restroom facilities, and picnic tables.
Tedford Park is a great place to spend an active day, and is an
equally perfect location to relax while reading or reflecting.
The land for Tedford Park was donated in 1960 by Duane Tedford in
memory of his father, Roy Tedford.
This 14-acre facility is primarily used by organized sports and
the neighborhood. There are restrooms and picnic tables available,
as well as the sports field, complete with a baseball feild with
dug-outs and bleachers.
Greater Wenatchee Babe Ruth, Big River Youth Soccer and Eastmont
High School are the primary users of this field.

"This photo was taken in August of 2004 of Tedford Park across the street from 1263 1st SE Street, my boyhood home until my family moved away to Pittsburgh in 1970. My father, both my brothers and I came back to see the old place. What great childhood memories of playing in the Park across the street!"
