Summer Swim League

Eastmont Parks SharksEastmont Parks is a part of the Wenatchee Valley Summer Swim League!

Sign up today to be part of the Eastmont Sharks Inaugural Season! Participants will practice five days a week and compete against teams from Ephrata, Quincy, The WRAC, Cashmere, Waterville and Leavenworth.

Minimum age is 5 years old and Maximum age is 18. Children must be able to swim 25 yards (one length of the pool) on their own. This can be done on their front or back.

Coaching will be lead by Stephanie Critchell. Stephanie has been swimming for twenty plus years and went to the Jr. Olympics as a competitor. She is currently one of the assistant coach at the Eastmont High School and the Coach for the Special Olympics National team.

Practices will be five days a week at the Eastmont Aquatic Center. Practice times will depend on the child's age:

  • 8 and Under: 9 am to 9:45 am
  • 10 and Under: 9:45 am to 10:30 am
  • 12 and Under: 10:30 am to 11:15 am
  • 13 and Older: 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Summer Swim League is perfect for all skill levels. It is a great introduction to what swim leagues are if someone is unsure whether they want to swim competitively. Its a great way to stay in shape for your fall sports. Its perfect for making new friends and being part of a team.

Parent involvement is required to make swim meets work. Swim meets held at the Eastmont Aquatic Center will require volunteers to help run the meets. We will need help with Announcers, Staging (getting swimmers to staging area), Timers, Judges, Data Entry, and more.
